I wish to remove temporary files on my desktop

Hi transactions
Welcome to the Community Forums.
You best bet is to get one of a number of freeware temporary & junk file cleaners that are available out there on the Web. A firm favourite with the Community members is CCleaner (from Piriform.com) available in post installer & portable format, and which is generally considered safe to use.
Have a look at that and see if it will meet your needs. But as always when using this sort of software make sure that you at the very least set a System Restore Point prior to running it and better still, if you have the facility take a back up of your data or image your disk...better to be safe than sorry.
Hope that helps?

Or alternately you can run Windows Disk Cleanup!
