I am doing well to get that where I am. There is someone not too far from me who gets 1Mbps download on a good day.@ wrote:

This is my fast year. (I do a year of 50/8 for $40/year [Bonus 75/10 promo, right now] and then a year of 25/5 for $25/year, just to keep getting the good promo rates.)

Hey @ don't worry about the spelling. I use spell check sometimes and even then words don't look right to me. My spelling has gone down hill and so has my eye sight, plus I'm using a Apple Keyboard. I wish they made it bigger. I guess all this comes with getting up to the Golden Years of Life. :D
Yes you are right about all of that. That Apple keyboard is rather small and and if I remember right I paid big bucks for that wireless keyboard AND wireless mouse...which I have to put in batteries all the time. Golden years eh?@ wrote:

This is my Speed test. Paying for 75 / 75 from Verizon Fios:
As you noticed it is well over 75 / 75. Verizon always gives you a little more.
I did some research with Verizon in my area. I can get (pay for) 940 / 880 that is available in this area. It comes in a 2 year package, Cable TV / Phone / Internet. I ended my 2 year contract with Verizon almost a year ago. They extended that contract with the discounts for a year, but I can end that extension at any time within a year. That time is coming close now to renew again. I'll be going to Verizon sometime next week to see what discounts I can get for the 940 / 880.

Spectrum ISP is faster now...:D

I have the option now of having fibre but actually I am OK without it. OK the speed would be nice but I ask myself "do I really need it?" and the answer is no, for what I need it is ok.
The only reason I have Gigabit Download is because of a package deal with Cable, Cell Phone and Internet so they give great deals on packages!
