Hi Friends,

My Antivirus shows an update related to the infection of router from time to time. Is it really possible for a router to get infected? Or it is just a adware? has anyone faced similar issue before?

Hello @AaronZ20

One can always reset their router and change the password with the right instructions.

But if you have Webroot installed then my best advice would be to Submit a Support Ticket or Contact them here. This is a free service with a Webroot subscription.

Please let us know if this was resolved for you or not.

Thanks!

I checked it out and it's quite resourceful, however I have also found an article which is similar to my situation. Since you are knowledgeable on the topic can you please guide me if this would be the best way to move forward to remove the infection?
