Keep getting no response error & computer locks up. How do I fix?
Computer locks up &/or I get No Response erros. Have minimal computer knowledge. Should I attempt to go back to original factory install to start over?

This is difficult question to answer. IF I was having all this trouble with my computer I would go for the factory install. You could back up your documents and photo to a disc. This is the easiest I thnk.
But before doing a factory reinstall would you have a look here about preforming a clean boot from Microsoft Support
Even if you feel comfortable you could first do System File Checker with details here
(sfc /scannow) and this will fix your system files most of the time,
Otherwise without knowing more details these are the suggestions that I have.
