This is a great article. I am going to test my knowledge and see just how many I remember and in the proper order. Thanks for the post. 

One thing though: Unless I am just missing it, and says a complete list of MacOS AND MacOS X versions.  But they only list MacOS X versions. Am I missing the early version list somewhere?  Or do they just mean the fact that MacOS X dropped the X later in the numbering scheme?  Sad, I would like to have seen all the way back to the first MacOS.
