It appears that the recent turn of events where a user successfully sued Microsoft for forcefully updating the system, seems to have prodded Microsoft to change their free Windows 10 upgrade policy.

Well, despite being a fervent fan of Windows 10 (and proudly so) I am glad to see the heavy handed tatics consigned to the 'bin' and users get a choice...will be interesting to see if 'Decline free offer' really is that...and not just another ruse. ;)

I agree Baldrick 100%. The heavy handed tactics are wrong and as far as I am concerned W10 sells itself without those tactics. I installed W10 on the computers of 2 friends computers at the weekend and both are impressed with it.
