This may be unanswerable, but I had to try!
I'm getting a quick pop-up window in Windows 10. It flashes by quickly and unreadable. I've confirmed it's not the browser, because it comes up whether the browser is running or not. It's sporratic, between 3-15 minutes apart. I've disabled the startup options I'm pretty sure don't need to be running and removedd some that defintely weren't. Checked the Event logs, and nothing besides the ordinary show up.
Is there any way I can track this activity and find out what this is? I'm betting there's some kind of program that will log system activity that can grab that event.
Thanks!

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
I assume you have WSA installed? If so please Submit a Support ticket and they can check to make sure it's not Malware related.
Thanks,
Daniel 😉

Thanx bjm_ Good info to store!
For that to happen the user would have to have Office 2016 installed. C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft Office@ wrote:

I have Office 2016 Pro Plus installed and never seen anything (pop-ups) mentoined in that aricle but again I have the 64bit version installed and my install path is C:Program FilesMicrosoft Office
ootOffice16officebackgroundtaskhandler.exe
So
Yes, that I do!
I tried the fix and so far, I haven't seen the problem. :)
Thanks for the advice everyone, and there was probably no way I'd have connected this to Office. Surprised none of this showed up in the application event log anywhere. Hopefully that's over!
Appreciate the help!
Note: Not sure why the image is in there twice...
