For Windows operating systems (OS), especially those up to and including Windows 7, Process Explorer is an excellent replacement for Task Manager. After publishing part 1: an introduction I received some questions, requests and comments that I will try to cover here.

Been using it for years, since in fact before MS swallowed up Mark & his colleague. They make some of the best system utilities in the business (other than Nir Sofer).
 
The article is a good resume on the application...nic eto find all the pertinent information in one place other than the help text. ;)
