Hate to say it, but this South Korean company is blowing away Apple!

The number of cell phone sales boggles the mind! The technology is simply incredible! Where do you go from here?

I have the Galaxy SII, which I bought about six months ago. Now, six months later, I feel like a Neanderthal, despite the fact that I did an immediate upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich and will shortly do an upgrade to Jelly Bean.  I can't keep up!
It's not so suprising to me. The founder of Samsung company once said that "Samsung is everything in South Korea" and this short but meaningful expression explains everything. Samsung's portfolio is immensely wide and covers all human needs. They dispose with almost unlimited budget. So it was just a matter of time when they rise their game on the field of mobile communications and coupled with Korean working spirit and endless desire to be the best in the world, it had to bring fruits.
I think they have also spent a lot of time and money on quality improvement over the last 10 years or so.  There was a time when Samsung devices were not considered as reliable as their competitors.  Back around the late 90's they seemed to have quality issues with hard drives as I recall.
They're pretty darn good golfers, too!  Look at all the female South Koreans among the top in the PGA rankings!  :S

I am not so golf knowledgeable but I wouldn't be surprised they play with Samsung golf woods 😃
South Koreans have a tremendous work ethic.  We in the U.S.A. have much to learn from them!

They make golf clubs, too?  :S

I can testify as I had chance to visit Hyundai factory in my country and I was amazed how the plant is inside operated. Even the Swiss watches aren't ticking like this company.

Maybe, keep in mind ... Samsung is everything there 😃
Samsung is huge. The Samsung Group makes up 20% of south Korea's total GDP. That's right. One company accounts for nearly a quarter of the GDP for South Korea.

I know a lot about their electronics division, especially their service division. 😉
