I have an annoying little issue. I use Firefox as my default browser. Up until now, it has been a very stable browser. When I do a search on e-bay, the search starts normally and then redirect to the Ask.com search engine. When I click on the back button on the browser, it goes back to my search and then redirects back to Ask.com. This issue does not happen in Internet Explorer. On the recommendation of the Mozilla support, I ran Mozilla Search Reset, but that was ineffective. Then out of the blue today, I get an e-mail from an e-bay community member that says that I may have a redirect virus and then tells me to go to "malwaretips.com" for further assistance.
I've been in this business long enough to know not to go running to unknown websites without prior verification.
Do any of you guys have any thoughts on the cause of this? According to Mozilla support, other people are having this issue as well, just as I have described. Of course, I can just use IE for e-bay, but I would like to resolve this.
TIA for any thoughts.
Cheers!
Paul
