When I shut down, a note appears warning that others using the computer may lose their work. Does this mean I have an unathorized hacker in my system? (Wiondows 😎
Hi willkn

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Not necessarily but let's start by seeing if you can provide the exact wording of the message, would you advise if you have set up multiple accounts/users or logins to your system, and finally, have you noticed any other strange behaviousr on your system, i.e., slowdowns, problematic searches, browser pages being redirected, etc.

Once we have answers to these we should be able to take it from there.

Hi Baldrick! Thanks for your response! I am so glad to get some advice on this. I will get back to u after it happens again(it happens daily but not every time I will write down what it says besides "Shutting Down" Thanks again.
Hi willkn

No worries...just take your time and send through what you have as and when.  If I am not around at the time then I am sure that one of the other Community members will to help out.

Despite being the only user, when I shut down, it says "shutting down" but it also sometimes says: "if you shut down now you and any other people using this PC could lose unsaved work"

Does this mean someone else is in my PC?

Typically yes - is there anyone else on your network in your household who might be able to access shares on your computer?  If not, then it could be someone accessing your wifi without authorization and browsing files on your computer.
