Sometimes I visit a website that I may never go to again just to read an article, etc. When I have to create an account I create my password by opening notepad and pounding on the keyboard like a chimpanzee – FEWJPOSJGSIUEDAWOIAJ ;RGFAEFA (this chimp hit the cap lock).

Next I copy the password to the clipboard. I copy it to the clipboard because I probably have to confirm the password; so I paste it into both fields. I login into the service, read what I want to read, close notepad and move along. The chimpanzee approach creates a strong password and lets you get the frustration of having to create an account in the first place out of your system.

Please no kudos for this post. I’d prefer some bananas :)
