Webroot stopped working and is blue instead of green and won’t scan.

 

It has turned OFF firewall, web shield, real-time shield.

It says subscription has expired but it’s not expired til October

Uninstalled and re-installed but it won’t take the CODE and says there’s no internet.

Runs perfectly fine on my other devices.

There seems to be zero support from Webroot and I do NOT have GeekSquad account … system is PC Windows 8.1

Try to Restore Defaults with Windows Firewall and reboot the system. Go to Control Panel! Mine is from Windows 10 Pro. And let us know if it works and make sure your Browser and system can connect to the Internet!

I would reach out to support. They can sort you out. 

Also you can try and copy/paste your keycode into the program and then run a scan to see if it goes. you also require an internet connection in order for it to activate.

I sent a detailed list of the program’s saying I am expired and have no internet when I try to reload my key code…. the shields and firewall were turned off (I’m expired).

Support told me to reload my key code…..

The program has been loaded and working for years and works on my other computers/devices….

They don’t read the details of what you send them.

Maybe it’s Firefox or a browser update?

 

 

 


The easiest way to solve this would not be by ticket, but by them remoting onto your computer and taking care of this for you. It’s always free

Yes they can! Webroot support is great as I had a few Remotes over the years while Beta Testing.
