My Lenovo laptop/notebook is running fine. I happened on a file in my "Public" Folder titled CAFADEBUG. Microsoft doesn't claim it, but they do claim VS7DEBUG. I have this text activity log named CAFADEBUG and I have copied/pasted it below. What the heck is this? I'm finding confusing/conflicting information on the web when I Google Searched this. Like I said, my computer isn't giving me error messages. Everything appears to be normal. Thoughts?

Hello boggsl and Welcome to the Webroot Community Forums!
Can you please Submit a Support Ticket so they can have a look at your scan log as far as I can see it maybe a PUA? https://community.webroot.com/t5/Tips-and-Tricks-KB/How-to-Remove-Potentially-Unwanted-Applications/ta-p/40744#.UwV9PYXDtdU and if it is they will be able to help you remove it free of charge.
Cheers,
TH ;)

Thank you! Will do -
Thats the Conexant audio driver which makes sense as the output is all audio/microphone related. You can even see the device ID string

I wouldnt worry about it.

I hear you both and that's wy it's very confusing on what to do. That's the conflict I read on the web and hear back from my TSRs and Firewall guru at work too.... ugh.... If it won't hurt to remove the log, it's worth removing. If it disrupts my audio then I don't want to mess with it and let it do it's thing.
It seems/appears to be in a weird place too and is probably why I am so excited about it.
At first glance it looks like the debug results from that particular exe as you can see the roughly what has happened
- sets the registry flags
- detects that its running Vista/7
- tries to register the audio device
- Opens the audio device (Soundcard)
- attempts to push a audi test
- Volume control,mute
- Gets a response from the card ( known signal path)
Ok - that makes me feel better. If I don't/can't delete the file, no worries. Relax. It's all good. Thank you!
