When I try to launch Fable Anniversary, which I acquired via Steam, Webroot SecureAnywhere for PC Gamers blocks access, crashes the game, and won't listen to the "Allow Always" button.
I've even manually whitelisted the Fable Anniversary EXE file.
The only way I can get the game to work with this gaming-friendly AV is to shut down protection completely.
Please advise. Thank you.

Good news - a patch was issued for Fable Anniversary and it works now. (for me, at least)
