why is my icon on task bar show lock is locked when not on web??
I recently had repairs to my lap top and they said it had registry problems that they fixed. Before when I went off of web or e-mail the pad lock would show open, now it shows it is closed all the time. Is this okay?

If you're referring to the padlock icon that appears in your wbe browser sort of like this one, then yes. It's okay. In fact, that's what you want to see.
