I have recently purchased a Windows 8 Lenovo, and had to upgrade my wireless router (Netgear49) and printer (Epson XP 420).  I have been unable to connect my computer and wireless printer.  The techs from Epson say that the webroot may be preventing the connection and that I need to temporarily disable my Webroot.  Your advice on how to do that?

NancyBell,

Welcome to the Webroot Community!

You can test to see if Webroot is causing the issue by right clicking on the Webroot tray icon, and then selecting "Shut Down Protection." If the issue still persists than Webroot is generally not the cause. With that being said I have personally seen a few issues like this during my time in Consumer Support and I would advise submitting a support ticket so one of our technicians can take a look at this and be sure. You can create a support case at https://detail.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp and one of our technicians would be glad to test this for you.
