How come Webroot won't get Advanced System Protector off of my computer? It's driving me crazy!

When I switched from Advanced System Protector to Webroot as my antivirus I became concerned that any time I restart my computer ASP will be the first thing to relaunch and ask me to update.  I have done a right click "remove with webroot" on it several times but it's still there at each restart.  How can I take off ASP for good?

Hello ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

I've done some research and found that Advanced System Protector needs to be removed in Safe Mode(F8) with Networking. From the Add  Remove Programs/Uninstall.

Edited: Please try the Add Remove in the Control Panel first to uninstall ASP. before going into safe mode.

My advce is to submit a Support Ticket and they can look into this for you free of charge with an active subscri[ption.

Hope this helps?

Kind Regards,
