Does Trusteer add anything worthwhile to Webroot protection?
+3Trusteer is malware protection from USAA Insurance that I used in conjunction with my previous malware protection, namely Norton 360. The two of them seemed to work well together, just as USAA said they would. In my upgrade to Win 10, I seemed to have lost Trusteer. Just wondering if I should resume using it now that I have Webroot.

WSA is designed to be compatible with other AV solutions. I think you will find that it does a much better job of this than Norton 360 did!
Before you try to re-install Trusteer, you want to check to make sure that it is Windows 10 compatible. I know during my upgrade to Windows 10, WSA was installed and running, and did just fine come up ready to go when the upgrade to WIndows 10 was finished. If Trusteer was lost during the upgrade there might be an issue there you need to be aware of.
As for putting it back on and if you should.. that is up to you. Some members here do use a second AV with WSA, some do not. Personally, I usually do not as there really is not need to in my opinion.

If I may just add to what David has posted...and on sort of a tangent but before you reinstall Tusteer you may like to take a look at this recent test of Trusteer compared to WSA...it makes interesting reading and my lead you to question as to whether Trusteer adds anything to the mix when it comes to protecting you.

+3Thank you all. I scanned the report that was cited and read all of your inputs. Looks like like I can safely dispense with Trusteer. Good! That's one less thing I have to maintain. Plus, dropping it removes the possibly of adverse interactions with WSA.
