Hello kathyjodan111152,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

You can check out the Webroot view of a site's current threat, content & reputation analysis by going to this BrightCloud webpage...this is what the Web Threat Shield's actions are based on.

And also on that site there are options to request categorisation & reputation changes if you believe that these are incorrect for a web site. http://www.brightcloud.com/tools/change-request-url-categorization.php

This is what I have found.

You can also submit a Support Ticket free of charge and they can look into this for you .

Hope this helps?

Hi kathyjodan111152

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If I may add to what Sherry has posted...but on a slightly different tack?

I would humbly suggest that using such software is 'dangerous' not necessarily because the site or the software is 'bad' but rather that updating drivers; a very key component of your system, should only be undertaken if absolutely necessary due to there being a discernible issue that such an update will fix.

And if you do need to update drivers then you should either use (i) Windows Update, which provides such updates as and when the manufacturers of the hardware on your system issue them OR (ii) carry this out manually by going to the website of the hardware manufacturer involved and ownloading/installing the drivers that they provide.

Many a system has been compromised by using 3rd party driver update software which downloaded & installed the wrong drivers or drivers unecessarily...in this case it is very much a case of "if it ain't broke then don't fix it".

Regards, Baldrick
