I have a Surface Pro 3 laptop computer. The only antiviral program I am using is Webroot. Is that enough, or do I need to use a Windows antiviral program also?Wh

Hi ekgpress

Welcome to the Community Forums.

This question comes up quite often and I would have to say that WSA should be more than fine in terms of providing you with the protection that you need. And that there is no need for Microsoft's antivirus solution.

And if yo fancy a good read about the protection provided please take a look at this previous post especially the video items.

Regards, Baldrick

Under most normal situations WRSA would be more then enough and even with some of the sites i frequent to acquire cantonese or mandarin study material for the kids of ours i haven't had the displeasure yet of having my machine infected by virii, malware or any other PUA. Paired with some common sense & WRSA you have an unbeatable combo. In the first month after i converted to WRSA i deliberately went onto a few sites where i know the critterware resides and i got a few allerts but nothing damaged or infected my machine. WRSA was & is the best line of defense i know off till now in every way.

Part of WRSA's strength is its inovative approach and the other part of its strenght in my opinion is the community setup where there are many experts with their own knowledge background that chip in and keep us on our toes...
