Hello tpeterson4623,

Welcome to the Webroot Community

This does happen occassionally and I am not sure why. So would you do an uninstall/reinstall of Webroot because this does work to solve this issue, It will only take 5 minutes or so to do,

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,

This issue has migrated from Win8>8.1>10 and now to Win 10  1511. I get these same messages after my computer runs automatic maintenance..I rely only on the green WR icon in systray (webroot is active) and watch for gold p
lock when browsing.  I alos glance up to the address bar for security info on every mouse click.  I believe that Windows maintenance is not recognizing active Webroot.  Never has...so I just went into Control Panel>Security and Maintenance>Change Security and Maintenance Settings>Uncheck box Antivirus Protection messages>OK or Save.  Problem solved.  I never rely on Windows to check my protection..I use my eyes, constantly glancing from SysTray to Address bar.  False messages about my Antivirus Protection gone forever.
