I got one of those scam 9.4 million inheritance emails. Now every day my time clock is off by about 12 hours, and my desktop goes black. I have run scans - nada - I think I have malware and webroot isn't finding it

Hello aclarinet,

Welcome to the Webroot Community

If you think you have been hacked is the first thing to do is to change the password asociated with your email account, making it as long as possible, mixture of characters, upper & lower case, numerics, special characters, etc.

You should also clean up your history and cookies within your browser.  Then check for PUAs

Last but not least , sinc  WSA is coming up clean, is to Open a Support Ticket to get the Webroort Support Team to check out your system and make sure that there is nothing going on  This is a free service with a Webroot subscription,

Hope this helps?
