just upgraded to windows 10 & the sys does NOT recognize that subscription to Webroots is up to date

This solution addresses Webroot SecureAnywhere Online Management Console 

When upgrading machines to Windows 10 from any previous version of Windows, a duplicate PC may, in a limited number of cases, appear in the Webroot Online Management Console. 
 
Webroot is taking steps to remove the root cause of these duplications however we have outlined below, information that will help remove duplications, or if planning to upgrade to Windows 10, provide instructions on how to avoid them occurring within the console.

If at any stage you have any difficulties or need assistance, please reach out to Webroot Support for assistance.

I have duplicates in my console – what do I do?

If during your upgrade path to Windows 10 you have duplicates in your Console, the following steps will clear the duplications.
 
Please follow these steps:

1. Log into the Webroot Online Management Console by clicking hereand locate the duplicated device(s). You will be able to identify the duplicates by looking at whichever one has the older date stamp.
2. After selecing the older, non-Windows 10 instances, click on the Commands tab and select Deactivate and choose Confirm.

I am planning, or about to start the upgrade to Windows 10 – what can I do?

The occurrence of duplications are low, however the following steps will prevent a duplication occurring.
 
Please follow these steps:

1. For devices that you plan to upgrade but are not yet on Windows 10, please log into the Webroot Online Management Console by clicking here.
2. Click on the PC Security tab and then click on the word Protected next to the computer name you wish to upgrade to Windows 10.
3. Click on the Commands tab and select Deactivate and choose Confirm.

Assuming these steps are followed, the license information will be correct as de-activating the pre-Windows 10 machine(s) will ensure that the license count stays accurate.All Contents Copyright © 2016
