Browswer Hijackers
I am protected by Webroot SecureAnywhere and it routinely stops viruses etc, however, it appears my browsers are getting hijacked. I have tried everything I know and it doesn't find anything, however, I still have things pop up like STOP Suspicious activity is coming from your IP address Call this number immediately etc. Or sometimes MULTIPLE IE windows would open. I finally just removed IE, but still have issues from time to time.

These could be coming from one of two sources; adware-relared popups or PUAs (Potentially Unwanted Applications) residing on your system.
Looking at the first possibility the best thing to try to see if that stops it is to install a good ad/pop-up blocker! SOme of these we use in the Community are detailed below:
For Internet Explorer Ad Block Plus: https://adblockplus.org/
For Firefox uBlock: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/?src=ss or Privacy Badger: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/privacy-badger-firefox/
Google Chrome uBlock: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en or Privacy Badger: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/privacy-badger/pkehgijcmpdhfbdbbnkijodmdjhbjlgp
Give the approrpiate one (base don the browser you use) a try and see if it resolves or helps withthe situation.
If it does not then post back here and we will move to the dealing with potenteial PUAs on your system.

In terms of Edge you have two options depending on whether or not you have updated to the Anniversary Update level of Windows.
If NOT then you should activate the built in popup blocker (click on Settings icon...with 3 dots horizintal in top right hand corner of any page...select Settings from the dropdown menu and then 'View Advanced Settings' ...at the bottom of the menu...and switch on the 2nd option down entitled 'Block pop-ups').
If you have the Anniversary Update (check by seeing if when you click on the Settings icon...with 3 dots horizintal in top right hand corner of any page...and see if you have an option for 'Extensions' in the menu revealed) then you can slected the Extensions option and from there you have the option to select & install the Edge version of AdBlock Plus...follow instruction provided interactively.
And that should give you a measure of protection re. Edge.
