I found out that the carrier who fuels my mobile HotSpot is doing maintenance on their tower so that their 4G service is not up and will not be available for 48 hours which cuts me off from most everything and when I DO get a moment of coverage I have to pounce, like now.
So, my question is, with my Webroot Secure Anywhere on my laptop, is it safe to use the free wi-fi connection from the hotel I'm staying in to get on line and do the necessary items I need to do, including have my daily scan by Webroot? Because right now I have tried to manually run a scan on my laptop twice and every time it gets to 81% where it connects to Webroot to scan using the database, it's freezing up and accumulating time but not actually doing anything.
So, again, Remedial Teffie is asking if any of you all know if it's safe to use the offered free wi-fi or should I just bide my time until the tower maintenance for TMobile is complete and my hotspot *will* be up and running again?
Thanks for your help!!!!

In places like Hotels, Airports and even Cafes it's best not to do anything important like banking and such. You can if you use a good VPN service and if you would like my recommendations just send me a PM!
