How can I remove the popup that says "Your Computer has been Blocked" ?
Today while browsing my normal web pages my computer screen changed to a full page, seemingly from Microsoft, stating that my computer had been blocked and that I needed to call a 1-855 number to unblock it. I used the Task Manager to close Chrome and the message went away. After looking online for this issue I found several people have had this as an ongoing problem. I ran a scan with my Webroot Secure Anywhere program and saw that 12 threats had been removed. Why wasn't this caught by the program before it ever showed up on my screen?

Welcome to the Webroot Community.
The 12 threats removed is a running total of all threats found/removed on your machine. This warning is not malware, but rather a popup trying to trick you into thinking you have malware and hoping you'll call them. I highly recommend an Adblockerl ike the ones listed at the bottom of this post. :)

If you clicked on any links, allowed them to remote into your computer, or went to any websites please Submit a Support Ticket ASAP. (Now would be a good idea....)
