anywhere folder

When I drag a file to the anywhere folder, should it still also remain in it's original location as well?

Welcome to the Webroot Community,
 
Drag and drop moves the files to a different location. So the answer to your question is no it does not remain in it's oringinal location in Windows.
 
Please have a look at the PC User Guide enacse you need it.
