I purchased a Brother Printer MFC-L3770 and tried for 2 months to get the software to install and connect it to my home wifi.  Today, I uninstalled webroot and the software worked.  I reinstalled webroot and could not scan.  I disabled the firewall to allow communication. This allows scanning but does not protect my computer.  Can I shut off the firewall for a specific IP address on my home network?

Hello @Slimwail can you tell us the version of WSA installed? Just hover the mouse pointer over the Webroot Icon down near the clock in the system tray. if you have v9.0.26.61 or v9.0.27.47 please update to the latest version v9.0.27.64. If you don’t have v9.0.27.64 just download from here and install over top and reboot the system then let us know if the printer works. See here to download: https://community.webroot.com/webroot-secureanywhere-internet-security-plus-13/webroot-9-0-27-64-341869/index2.html#post353189

And the changes in v9.0.27.64: https://community.webroot.com/business-product-releases-26/product-bulletin-agent-changes-in-pc-build-9-0-27-64-341881
