I have the interpol virus. It came on during a music download. Why did Webroot allow it in? Why won't Webroot detect it and remove during scanning? Should I ask for a refund and buy a product that works?

Hello and Welcome to the Community Forum,

From some of the research this threat can be downloaded manually by tricking the user into thinking they are installing a useful piece of software, for instance a bogus update for Adobe Flash Player or another piece of software.
The Interpol virus is also prevalent on peer-to-peer file sharing websites and is often packaged with pirated or illegally acquired software.
