Why does the "Unblock page and continue" button not work?
When Webroot blocks a webpage, sometimes I know it's safe, and sometimes I'm willing to take the risk of its being unsafe. But the "Unblock page and continue" button doesn't do anything. It doesn't unblock the age, and it doesn't continue. It just sits there, whether I click it, or reload, or reboot--nothing happens. I've searched around quite a bit and it seems from other users' questions that there is no way to whitelist a site myself, and if I turn off Web Shield and Realtime Shield the webpages are still blocked, with the only way around the problem being to shut down Webroot completely. But then what is that useless "Unblock" button there for?

Apologies for the delay in responding...just noticed that your question had not been addressed.
I am unsure about what you have posted as the 'Unblock and proceed' feature has always worked perfectly on my machine so I am wondering if this has something to do with an incomplete installation of Webroot. If you are so minded we could try an uninstall/reinstall and see if that resolves the issue. If you would like to do that (it is quickly done) please follow these instructions:
If your subscription is directly through Webroot, you will need to contact Webroot Support. You can do so by submitting a Trouble Ticket if you have not already done so, or by phone during business hours. (The online Ticketing system is manned 24/7)
If your subscription is through Best Buy Subscription Software services, you may need to call them at 1-800-GEEK-SQUAD.
Now, if you are technically confident then there is a way to edit the local white list to manually add URLs to it. To do this navigate to the following folder:
C:ProgramDataWRDatawrUrl (please note that this is a hidden folder so you may well need admin right to make it visible).
Therein you will find a text document called 'WhiteList', if yo open it using a text editor you can then add the required URL(s), in the format:
http://www.a_new_url.com
one per line, line returning after each url, and then save the text file back to its original name. If all works as it should the next time you attempt to access the site you should not be hindered by the WSA Block Page.
Now if that also does not work I would open the support ticket so that Support can investigate a fucntion that should be work.

- KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
- Uninstall WSA and Reboot
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
- Let it finish it's install scan
- Reboot once again

Hi, Baldrick. Thank you for your prompt reply. I'm afraid the complete uninstall and reinstall did not work. And while I am very happy to find that there is now a whitelist, adding the URLs in question to that list did not help, either. I will submit a ticket as you suggest.
