Jan 17, 2018 17:10 GMT  ·  By Marius Nestor As promised, Linux kernel maintainer Greg Kroah-Hartman released today a set of new updates for the long-term supported Linux 4.14, 4.9, 4.4, and 3.18 kernel series.
 
These new kernels come just one week after their previous releases to add more x86 updates to protect users against the Meltdown and Spectre security vulnerabilities disclosed earlier this month. They also include various updated GPU, InfiniBand, USB, crypto, sound, networking drivers, as well as some core networking changes.
