Yesterday I renewed my Webroot Spy Sweeper, etc., under the special 15-month offer.  It immediately scanned and found 3 infections to be removed!  One of these was a Messenger infection that was sending out e-mails using one of my own addresses!  It was brand new the yesterday was the first day that the virus was functioning.  I believe that the UPDATE is what caught the new virus.  I am a very happy boy today.  Windows Defender and Norton 360 are also on my computer but the Webroot Spy Sweeper is what I really depend upon.
