I used to have the webroot logo on the top left of my mobile phone, I bought the new android security for the next 12 months the other day, and I have no icon on the top left corner of my screen now.

I recently experienced this same issue after an update. I finally uninstalled the mobile app & reinstalled it and everything is working again. I think Webroot must have changed a procedure though as I had to allow installation of apps from an unknown source until the installation was completed which I didn't fully understand as I got the app through the Playstore and by allowing this the one time it did not not change my normal settings which does not allow install from sources other than Playstore. Hope this helps.
