Hello,
I recently installed Webroot for my unrooted S7 and encountered a problem just after I finished setting it up. Apps cannot actively run for more than a few minutes in the background. I tested all of my apps that can actively run in the background on three installations, with the same results. I did not find anything in the settings that may be causing the conflict, but I may have missed something.

Your best bet given what yo are describing is to Open a Support Ticket to let the Support Team know of the issue. They should be able to investigate it for you and advise as to how you should proceed.

It sounds like you may have Samsung's battery/app optimizer on your phone set to "always". See the "long live your battery" section on this page. If you have that setting enabled, I would expect this behavior, since it's trying to shut down apps as soon as you're not using them to increase your battery life.
