Can I install my webroot subscription to my android and Ipad tablets ?

Well for iOS there is only the Free SecureWeb Browser: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/webroot-secureweb-browser/id460986853?mt=8 and also the Back Up & Sync Feature as I see you have the Complete version: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/backup-sync/id478387339?mt=8 also iOS doesn't allow AV's to run on there systems so there is no AV protection unless Apple changes it's mind in the Future.

Hi Daniel Is the proper app to load to my tablet still the one you are referencing above? I was working with a Webroot Sr. Escalation Engineer on my phone issue (which still isn't resolved). The app I was told to install on the tablet was the Webroot Mobile Security - Free app. The Webroot Secure Web Browser standalone app or the Mobile Security - Free app works at blocking threats as long as you are searching on the Webroot browser. But if you got to Google or Chrome the blocking feature won't work when I access the same website. Just want to be sure this is the solution before uninstall and start over. Thanks Daniel. Jackie

I'm confused. Why do I need to start a new topic thread? The title of this thread "How do I install webroot to my android tablet?" was exactly what I need, that's why I added to this post rather than start a new one.

 

I have a Ellipsis 10 tablet (android).  I clicked on the link you provided that referred to the android device (not Ipad info link). I'm simply asking if the Webroot Security Complete app is still the correct app for the android tablet.

 

Its confusing that 2 sources reference different apps to load for the tablet (This board references Security Complete, the Webroot Support group told me to load Webroot Mobile Security - Free app).  

 

I was looking for a simple confirmation before I uninstall the Webroot Mobile Security - Free app from my tablet as I have not rec'd a response from the Support Team.  But clearly the Mobile Security - Free app is not fuctioning properly on my tablet. I guess I will uninstall that app and install the Webroot Security Complete app.

 

I am trying my best to source the answers for myself before opening a new thread or a support ticket. I'm hoping this works because at this point.I'm frankly pretty exasperated. None of the apps are operating as intended or stated on my brand new phone I've had since 1/7/2017.  I loaded the app I was told to load on the tablet and it isn't working either.  I just want to get the right app loaded and working on my new tablet so I can move forward.

JP-Did you read my thread?  I am working with Customer Support Team. But when I load the app to my table that the CST told me is the right one, and it isn't working I thought if I came here I might get the answer.  I came back here to see what was recommended and it isn't the same app. I'm simply trying to get confirmation that I need to load Webroot Security Complete for my Android tablet. I thought I would get a "yes" or "no" not a resend of what was in the previous thread (I know what an Ipad is and I don't have one). I've yet to get the CST to respond. As I said I guess I will start over and load WSComplete.

 

Seriously, I have had Webroot for over a decade or more on my desk top and laptop. I've never had so many problems since adding it to my phone (2011/new phone 2017) and now a new tablet.  I'm very familiar with the product. It's troubling that 2 different sources that work through customer issues are providing different information. I hope you can appreciate the confusion I'm experiencing and the frustration of installing and re-installing apps multiple times for 1 device (my phone) and the product doesn't work as intended/designed. Then I'm thinking the tablet should be a snap to install and it isn't either. I can't believe that I'm still going a round in circles at this point. I hope this is it.

Yes, all Complete subscriptions should be activated through the Webroot Security Complete app on Google Play.

You've been responding back and forth to our Sr. Escalation Engineer. He only gets involved whenever there is a uncommon issue that we have not seen enough cases of.

 

I do understand all of the confusion/frustration you've experienced and extend my sincere apology for the situation.
