Hello rkelly,

Welcome to the Community Forum,

I'm currently not at my Mac so I'll try to tell you to go to System Preferences and look at the Security and check to see if youri firewall is checked. As soon as I can I'll send you graphics if you cannot find Security /Firewall. I've never experienced this on my Mac before. So give me an hour to get to my computer. Can you give me exact errors? Edited, Never mind I understand after reading your post..Don't worry we will take care of that in the System Analyzer...

Kind Regards,

Hi rkelly

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Have you had another security application, such as McAfee, Norton or the like, also installed on your system?  The reason I ask is those applications use their own firewalls, and when installed they tun off the Indows built in firewall.

WSA, in contrast, requires the Windows Firewall to be on to provide fullprotection of connections (WSA uses its own firewall to protect the outbound connections from your system, but uses the Windows Firewall to cover the inbound ones.

Would you please check the status of your Windows Firewalll and if Off then please turn it on.  To assist you re. this please review this Microsoft KB article on the topic, and post back either way to let us know how you get on.

The other thing to check is whether the WSA Firewall is on and you can do this by clicking on the PC Security tab, from the main applicaiton panel, and looking at the Firewall slider...it should be Green/On.

Regards, Baldrick

Hello rkelly,

I have the same. as you, I've had Webroot for a year and a half without any issues to mention.

All I do is use the System Optimizer and I don't worry about any open files. This is how a Mac is. The System Analyzer
is  just a tool for the Basic things I wouldn't read to much into it IMHO.

@ can you add to this about System Analyzer?

Here is the Mac User Guide that will be helpful in understanding Webroot.

Hope I've helped you and if you have anymore questions then feel free to ask.

Hello rkellly,

The Webroot System Analyzer is made to scan for threats, security vulnerabilities, and other computer problems. After the scan, it displays a report that describes any vulnerability it found.  Some of these can be fixed by Webroot, others are issues that you will have to repair.  Please be aware that some issues will show up in System Analyzer that little can be done about without changing hardware, such as Ram needed.
