how can I tell if my computer is protrcted by web root

Welcome to the Webroot Community,
 
The way you know your protected is to locate the green webroot icon on the bottom lower right of your screen of your taskbar and let your mouse pointer hover over it.  It should say it's protected.  You will also notice (when your  on the internet) a golden lock over the icon which tells you that you are protected when you are online.
