WSA does not per say scan or interact with email clients and so should not be interfering with the clearing of a junk mail folder.  Would you be able to provide some additional information such as what email client you are using for your mail task, or do you use webmail, i.e., access via a browser, etc.?  Also, what messages and/or warning/error messages are you getting when the issue occurs?

 

Any such information will help us to localise the issue and then hopefully provide some assistance to you, if we can.

I'm using window live mail and when I try to delete junnk mail a window pops up and say unknown error has occured
