My Macbook Pro was running slow and would get stuck. I decided to try and clean up computer with the system optimizer. Through out the process I have lost most of my information. I did not have time machine activated.

How can restore information, I also can not get the cloud cleaned up.
Hi Crisade

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry to h ear about your troubles.  I am not a Mac user but have used WSA for a long time and whilst I know that there are differences between the PC & Mac versions of WSA, I would not believe that they would be so great as for yo to be able to lose most of your information as a result of using the Optimizer.

Can you advise as to exactly what data you believe that you have lost?

I have been able to get my contacts and calendar back but I am not able to locate my documents. When I go to there I am finding things that I do not recognize. I am sure it's not the webroot but my inexpierence...lol.

I am trying to locate my disc for Microsoft office and see if that helps me.

Trial and error...I guess.

Ok that did not work I can't get or find any of my excel or word documents. Only things I coud recover is what was in my icloud contacts, notes etc.

Hi Crisade

WSA should not have, and I have not ever heard of it, removing Excel and/or Word documents unless they are infected, and I would find it hard to believe that everyone of those on your Mac had become infected, etc.

Can you check to see if the Mac version (I presume) of Office is still installed on your Mac?  If it is not then please do that and then check again.  It may be that the files are there but if Office is not then they may not be recognised/openable, etc.
