No this isn't correct. I'd advise you to uninstall and reinstall with the instructions below to uninstall.

I log into my account and on the home page there are 5 boxes 'go to PC security ' etc. Instead it's 'buy PC security which of course I've already done. Never had it before.

Did you run the Trial before buying? In any case it's best to contact support as Sherry suggested and they will sort it all out for you! Please let us know the outcome as it could help other users with the same issue!
