A Windows 10 suggestion...

...while I read around here so I'm not asking for answers, it might be a good time for you Marketing team to send out an email update to customers regarding Windows 10.

With the latest windows update for Win7/8 users including the little "Get Windows 10" widget and showing them they can upgrade -- the highlight of the tool is it also showing "You'll need to uninstall these apps during the upgrade: webroot".

So, might be good to let "everyone" know whats up, and if webroot will be updated prior to the Window 10 in-place upgrade to work with it (late July?) so folks don't need to worry or bother ya'll with constant questions here and support/email.  Or if it will work, but would require uninstall/reinstall.  Or even just to stand by.  (I personally would probably uninstall a few things like webroot for an upgrade like this, and then re-install -- but it's not clear to your customers from the displayed message if they would then be able to then re-install it, etc.)

But with that widget out saying this to everyone who uses webroot, I'd start communicating.  Just my $0.02 since I really like webroot. 🙂

Here's the screenshot, just for reference -- I think pretty much any user with Win7/8 and updates turned on will be seeing this about now.

Thanks for the info and a few of us knew we had to uninstall WSA with each build of Windows 10 Preview and I will ask @ or @ to see if there is a fix in the works so that we don't have to uninstall WSA to upgrade to Windows 10?

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
