After doing a RESET on my Firefox I do not have the PASSWORD MANAGER ICON in the toolbar. Also there is no WEBROOT PASSWORD MANAGER in the list of add-ons under Firfox TOOLS. How do I get the add-on to put the icon back in the toolbar?

I'm having the same problem as the OP. I'm careful about downloading executables, so I wanted to read the official scoop on this patch before running. I found it on the support website here:
http://www5.nohold.net/Webroot/Loginr.aspx?pid=10&usertext=toolbar%20missing
It was a bit of a pain to figure out how to get at it, and it didn't add anything that hasn't already been copied to threads on this forum. Maybe this will save someone else the trouble of looking it up. :p

I was also concerned about this patch for a few other reasons:
It was much easier to find help by searching here than it was on the support website. I'm not sure whether that is amusing, or not. :8
- It was recommended as far back as 2012 for Firefox 9
- It doesn't just restore the Firefox toolbar, it messes with toolbars for Chrome and IE, too.
- The support page documenting the patch is undated, and doesn't say what browser or OS versions it is good for.

Hi, Daniel,
Argh. When I said I ran the patch, I was referring to toolbarfix.exe. Like I said, I had no problems with it, it restored the toolbar on Firefox, didn't disrupt the existing functionality on Chrome and IE, and didn't disturb my site archive.
I'm an ex-software engineer, and I'll never be comfortable running a patch without reading the release notes. I contributed the two earlier posts to maybe save someone else the trouble of digging for release notes and questioning the patch's suitability as I did. Anyone with habits like mine will have no trouble finding this thread. :p
It was cool to come in here, search for my issue, and instantly find a solution. I'm quite happy with the product, and this help forum puts it over the top.
Cheers,
Laura

Thanks for the invitation, Daniel.
I could use more help with the password manager, but it doesn't fall under this heading. I'll go start a new thread...
