After Firefox reset I lost Webroot addon extensions-- how do I get them back?

Hi,  new user here.  Title pretty much says it all.  I'm using Firefox 28.0 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.  I think I had either 2 or 3 webroot addon extensions on my firefox.  Then I was having problems with my default home page, so I reset firefox.  Now only one of my webroot extensions is on there--  "Webroot Filtering".  I can't remember the name of the other one.  Sorry, this is all new to me, wasn't paying that close of attention-- didn't think I needed to til now.

Is there a way to go into Webroot control panel to reactivate the addon extensions?

Thank you,

Hello :)

Firefox uses two Webroot Add-Ons: the Filter Extenion and the Password Manager.

To reinstall the Password Manager, please run the Toolbarfix.exe utility.

This will remove, and then reintall, the Password Manager Toolbar on IE, Chrome and FireFox all at once.

I hope this helps!

Thank you, I appreciate the quick feedback. I applied the .exe and the solution has been solved. I have both extensions back on my firefox.

Excellent!

I am glad that is back to normal, and thank YOU for letting us know :)

That is one of my favorite fixes...the problem is common, and very annoying at best, but it is fun when the fix is quick and relatively easy 🙂

Hi All

Have just updated Firefox to version 29 Final...and no issues here with either the Threat Shield or Password Manager Toolbar...other than they are both showing as last updated on 22nd March...so still something not right re. the update of the Webroot extensions...which I wil have to investigate...again.

Regards

Baldrick
