Where do I find email profiles in "Backup & Sync?"
Hi TheQuester

Welcome to the Community Forums.

I would be grateful for a little more to go on if we are going to be able to help you.  In what context are you looking for email addresses?

Thank you. I have been a Webroot user for years. With Backup and Sync running on auto.  But now is the first time whereby I need to restore much of what is in my Backup folders.

Had a hard drive crash and bought a new computer. Some malfunctions with new computer that I have yet to understand. But one is this:

My email client for several email accounts works EXCEPT FOR my main account.  Somehow that account has changed where it's storing my profile with incoming email's.  [I've been using webmail until I figure this out.]

I thought if I downloaded email's [plus address book] from the backup of my previous computer, it might go to a location that would somehow help me set my current incoming email's for the account that is not currently visible.
Thanks for the explanation.  Well, whether or not you will be able to restore the emails, plus address book, will depend on whether or not your set Backup & Sync to back them up in the first place....of, course.

To check the statuses of files that have been nominated for back up and therefore backed up please review this page of the online help test.  Hopefully the files/folders containing your emails and address book will be listed therein and you can then recover the data from there.

Thank you, Baldrick.

I'm still clueless.  Will have to spend time studying how to better utilize my Webroot.
No worries...you would be surprised how little used the Back Up & Sync feature is, and so how badly understood it is.  I do use it but I have not yet gone into the depths of the features it has, mainly due to lack of time.
