I am trialing to 5 device Webroot and can not load on 2nd PC.  Have not tried phones yet.  Help

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble.

 

You should be able to install Webroot from here. I will instruct you how. First lets try the PC and then we will get WR installed on your phones.

 

Please follow the steps closely!

 


  • Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
  • KEEP the computer online to install to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot

Thanks for the reply.  I think the real issue is this.  I decided to trial Webroot for 5 devices.  I registerd with Webroot and the Community forums under the trial key code.  It loaded flawlessly on the first PC.  I then tried to load on a second PC using the same key code.  This DID NOT work.   I tried to find a second code associated with the "trial".  When i couldnt find one I decided to purchase the Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete, which I did and recieved a different key code.  I am now scanning the second PC with the purchased keycode but it has not finished as of this writing.

 

Issues:

1) I want to keep my registartion information the same as the trial info

2) How do I recieve more keycodes for the other devices (including the first PC on which I downloaded the trial)?

3) Does Webroot offer an online chat and I just have not stumbled upon it?  It would be noce to get help faster than writting an email to customer service.

Let me try to answer a few questions here.

 

 @

1- We here on the Webroot Forum are Volunteers for the Community to help Webroot OP's  out with what ever we can the best we can and we do solve alot of issues. What we cannot solve on this Forum... we send to Support. Some things we just cannot do and thats issue keycodes or changing registration..etc.  @ our moderator can adjust some problems if need be or to esculate them.

 

2- If you have a 5 devices with the Webroot subscription then those devices will have the same keycode. You won't get separate keycodes for each device or PC. It's all one keycode for all the devices.

 

3-The best way to get help is to Contact Support and they can solve all of your issues with your keycodes and trail keycode.

 

4- Support will keep all your registration information however you want, if you registered with one email then you should be able to keep that email registration.

6- I don't know why you couldn't use the same keycode for your trial with 5 devices. The keycode detemines which product you are buying or trying. Like one keycode for 5 devices would be WebrootSecure Anywhere Complete. Another keycode determines if you have Webroot Antivirus and so on...the key code determines the product that you are buying.

To make things simple then please Contact Support and they will straighten this all out for you quickly.

 

We have some pretty incrediable Forum experts here such as @ @ @ that help with the majority of problems that they are confronted with. But they are offline right now.

I looked up your account and I see both the trial and the live keycodes, and they are both 5 device licenses.  The trial did expire yesterday, so you'll want to switch over to using the keycode you purchased.  If you're still having problems then our support team should be able to help you out with the installation issue.
