does anyone know if wipes away traces of online activity that was on computer or just after current
It crossed my mind to ask if the past activity on the computer for on line use is remove or just use of computer on line. Speaking of the hard drive.

I am not quite sure jst what you are asking here? If you are asking if WSA removes traces of online browsing activity then the answer is 'yes' in a limited form if you have the version that has the Sytem Optimizer feature...but as I said that is limited.
For proper removal of traces of online activity you are best looking at a product that specifically handles that...like CCleaner...but even that does not remove the traces so that they cannot be recovered by forensic tools.
