I need help. I made my account and set up my key code. Then I go to log on and it says it can't connect to the cloud. Can anyone help me with this problem?

I have a surface pro 3 if this helps. I have windows 8. I have no idea what it means when it says it cannot connect to the cloud. Could anyone help me out? Please?

Well i take it that you have internet service. Has this just started with Webroot?
Can you reboot your computer and see if that helos with this error.
Second thing that I would try is a clean install...download a new version of the installer from here (Best Buy customer from here). Make sure that you have your keycode to hand, and then uninstall WSA, REBOOT, install using the new version of the installer (making sure that you DO NOT take up any offer to use previous settings or the like), REBOOT...and then see how things are running.
