How do I get webroot to auto-generate passwords for me? I stored my passwords so it logs in for me

Below is information for accomplishing a generated password.
 
You can use the Password Manager to generate a strong, hack-resistant password for any website. A strong password is difficult to guess and helps protect you from identity theft.

You don't need to remember these automatically generated passwords. When you access this web page again, the Password Manager automatically fills in the password field for you.

To use the password generator:

1. Open a web browser and sign in to your Webroot account. (Click the “Webroot icon” in your browser’s toolbar, then enter your Webroot user name and password.) [img]http://sw.nohold.net/Webroot/Images/wsa_signinbar.png[/img]  
2. Access a password-protected web page and click inside the password field. The yellow Password Manager toolbar opens.  
3. Click Generate from the toolbar. (If this toolbar doesn't appear, click the drop-down arrow next to My Identity Tools, then select Generate Secure Password.) The Generate Secure Password dialog opens. [img]http://sw.nohold.net/Webroot/Images/wsa_pmgensecurepassword.png[/img]  
4. Click the Accept button to use the randomly generated password shown in the field. (If you are not logged in or you are not accessing a web page with a password field, a Copy button appears instead of the Accept button. Click Copy to copy the password to your clipboard. You can then paste the password into a password field.)

Once you click Accept, the new password is filled into the Password and Confirm Password fields in your web page.

If you want a different password than the one shown, you have several options:

• Click Generate to create another password, then click Accept. You can keep clicking Generate until you are satisfied with the password displayed in the field.  
• Click in the Show Advanced Options checkbox to display more options for password generation, select the items you want, then click Generate. You can keep clicking Generate until you are satisfied with the password displayed in the field, then click the Accept button. If you want to view your passwords go to the Password Manager website and click the Passwords tab. For more information, see Using the Password Manager website. Here  you find your passwords that are generated.

A much needed post for me to read.  Always wanted to use this feature, but with little success and lack of courage to experiment too much with it.  That being said, I have never understood the clipboard mentioned or how to acess and use.  How dumb of me........Please expound if you will.  KUDOS.

When you copy or cut or move data, it is held temporarily in an invisible portion of memory. This is called as the ClipBoard. The clipboard enables applications to transfer data or between applications or within an application.
You can select text  and then use the Cut or Copy commands to move your selection to the Clipboard, where it will be stored until you use the Paste command to insert it elsewhere. For example, you might want to copy a section of text from a website, and then paste that text into.There are plenty of articles on using the clipboard if you Googe this for more explanations.
 
In Password Manager Advanced Preferences you can select number of minutes until the Clipboard is cleared after use.For security reasons you'd want to clear the clipboard.
 
Maybe someone in the Forum can explain this further? To be honest I rarely use the clipboard for Password Manager.
