i ran system analyzer the past day but there's no report showing at all. how do i view it? is there any progress bar or
anything to show that it has been completed?

In order to view a saved report of the System Analyzer, you will need to run it again, and then manually save the results when it has completed. It usually only takes a few minutes to run.
While it is running, you should have an extra window just for the System Analyzer, and it does indeed show a relative progress bar while running.

After the System Analyzer has completed, if you click the Save Report button it will save ONLY the graphic. A screen shot of the results.
You can also click the View FULL Report button, and then save. This will give a very detailed report in Notepad format and is probably of much more help than saving the graphic.
